Those of you who know me, know I love to read. And I love sharing worthwhile books just as much. You probably also know that I publish an annual “Top Read, Watch or Listen List” of books and podcasts every summer in anticipation of your vacation downtime when you have more time to devote to learning something new.

I’ve done that for years, so I have a LOT of recommendations for books that help you do what you do better. Recently, I compiled my favorites into a large, comprehensive list (with something for everyone!). It can keep you happily learning for a long, long time.

The attached PDF contains 50 of my favorite books covering all manner of business- and life-related topics. Arranged alphabetically, you’ll see books about authenticity (which is hugely important to me), change (hard but necessary), decision-making (who doesn’t need help with that from time to time?), self-awareness (something you can use every single day—all day) and work-life balance (absolutely vital to a truly successful and happy life).

There are books specifically for salespeople, and others are all about honing leadership skills. There are books on time management, good habits, motivating others and even one about the importance of grit.

Several of the books on this list are aimed at simply making all of us happier, more mindful human beings.

I hope you use this list to become better at whatever you do. I also hope you’ll share this list with co-workers, a mentor or mentee, friends, and family. Anyone you care about.

That’s the spirit in which it is given to you.

The author Henry Miller said this about sharing books: “A book lying idle on a shelf is wasted ammunition. Like money, books must be kept in constant circulation.  … A book is not only a friend, it makes friends for you. When you have possessed a book with mind and spirit, you are enriched. But when you pass it on, you are enriched threefold.”

Enjoy.
