About Marc Corsini
I help CEOs, business owners, and senior executives become better leaders, build stronger organizations, and live more meaningful lives.
For more than 30 years, I have worked alongside business leaders facing the challenges that come with growth, responsibility, and success. While every engagement begins with a business opportunity or leadership challenge, the conversation often extends beyond strategy and performance. It also includes relationships, purpose, faith, personal growth, and the question every leader eventually faces:
What does success really look like?
My role is not to tell people what to do. It is to help them think more clearly, see their blind spots, challenge their assumptions, and make better decisions. Through executive coaching, consulting, and Vistage peer advisory groups, I create environments where leaders can have honest conversations, learn from one another, and grow both professionally and personally.
I believe leadership is an inside-out journey. Business success matters, but it becomes far more meaningful when it is aligned with what matters most in life. That belief inspired my 7 F’s of True Success framework and my four books on leadership, balance, and personal development.
Today, I serve as a Vistage Chair, leading CEO and Key Executive peer groups in Alabama while continuing to coach executives and business owners across a variety of industries. The greatest privilege of my work is watching leaders become not only more successful, but also more grounded, more self-aware, and more fulfilled.
As I enter what I call the Fourth Quarter of life, I find myself increasingly focused on significance over success, relationships over accomplishments, and impact over recognition. My goal is simple: to help people become the best version of themselves while living a life they are proud to call their own.
My wife Susan and I live in Birmingham, Alabama. We are blessed with three children, a growing circle of lifelong friendships, and opportunities to serve others through our faith and community.
Success is not just what you accomplish. It is who you become along the way.

life lessons and basketball
Right now, we’re deep into basketball season, and I’m lovin’ life! I have many fond memories associated with this sport. At the same time, I’m also reminded of a not-so-happy, basketball-related event that taught me a few very valuable life lessons. Some of you know...
first things first
So, with the previous blog, we’ve established that being busy isn’t always best. It doesn’t necessarily make you more important or even more successful. But busyness can keep you from focusing on what’s fundamental to your success. But only if you let it. Years ago, I...
busy, busy, busy
“Life is what happens when you are planning.” That’s an old adage, and I’ll add a new variation: “Life is what happens when you are doing!” If you’re busy, you know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s been only six weeks since the new year began with all its promise...
groundhog day
Groundhog Day has come back around (as Groundhog Day always does). If you (and Punxsutawney Phil) saw shadows, we’re all looking at six more weeks of winter. Weather aside, Groundhog Day always reminds me of the movie Groundhog Day, and the movie reminds me of a...
uncommitted or overcommitted?
Recently, one of the executives I coach arrived at my office late for our monthly coaching session. This was uncharacteristic, and I could tell at a glance that something was going on with her. She apologized for her tardiness but said there was a good reason for it—a...
5 simple tips for overachieving
In my 9 – 1 or 1 – 9 blog, I challenged you to answer these three critical questions as you reflect on this past year and think about what you want to accomplish this upcoming year: What do I want to do more of? What do I want to do less of? What should I stop doing...
