About Marc Corsini
I help CEOs, business owners, and senior executives become better leaders, build stronger organizations, and live more meaningful lives.
For more than 30 years, I have worked alongside business leaders facing the challenges that come with growth, responsibility, and success. While every engagement begins with a business opportunity or leadership challenge, the conversation often extends beyond strategy and performance. It also includes relationships, purpose, faith, personal growth, and the question every leader eventually faces:
What does success really look like?
My role is not to tell people what to do. It is to help them think more clearly, see their blind spots, challenge their assumptions, and make better decisions. Through executive coaching, consulting, and Vistage peer advisory groups, I create environments where leaders can have honest conversations, learn from one another, and grow both professionally and personally.
I believe leadership is an inside-out journey. Business success matters, but it becomes far more meaningful when it is aligned with what matters most in life. That belief inspired my 7 F’s of True Success framework and my four books on leadership, balance, and personal development.
Today, I serve as a Vistage Chair, leading CEO and Key Executive peer groups in Alabama while continuing to coach executives and business owners across a variety of industries. The greatest privilege of my work is watching leaders become not only more successful, but also more grounded, more self-aware, and more fulfilled.
As I enter what I call the Fourth Quarter of life, I find myself increasingly focused on significance over success, relationships over accomplishments, and impact over recognition. My goal is simple: to help people become the best version of themselves while living a life they are proud to call their own.
My wife Susan and I live in Birmingham, Alabama. We are blessed with three children, a growing circle of lifelong friendships, and opportunities to serve others through our faith and community.
Success is not just what you accomplish. It is who you become along the way.

Seasonal Situations
Tough times at work. They happen; that’s a given. And it’s absolutely crucial that you be prepared. Let’s consider, for a moment, a worst-case scenario. Maybe the contract with your company’s biggest customer is coming up for renewal, and everyone in the office is on...
Getting in Front of Buyers
I have a client who routinely reaches out to potential customers via phone calls and email. Smart man that he is, he’s trying to figure out how to do what he does better with a more targeted approach to getting in front of his buyers. As part of this effort, he...
Boss vs Leader
Whether you are 16 years old working your first job in a fast-food restaurant or a 30-year veteran at a Fortune 500 company, you probably report to someone. If you’re lucky, that someone is a leader—not a boss. There’s a huge difference. Being a boss can be easy What...
Time to Go
Deciding when to retire is tricky for most people. Even high-profile people with all kinds of folks giving them good advice don’t always get it right. I was talking to someone the other day, and we got on the subject of “athletes who should have retired sooner.” (You...
Paint by Numbers
We live in an instant-gratification society. Just about anything you could want—from cookware to cosmetics is just one click away—often with free two-day shipping! But this mindset is not entirely new. I remember a particular artistic shortcut from my youth called...
Perpetual Amateur
In college, I developed an interest in photography, and I bought a Nikkormat 35mm camera. At the time, it was Nikon’s lower-end product, but it still was nicer than a Polaroid or other instamatic camera. Back then, gaining “experience” with a 35mm camera was...
