Sometimes we just need to go back and embrace those early, important life lessons we learned as kids.
- Say please and thank you.
- Stand when a lady comes to your table (or when the lady at your table leaves).
- Taste your food before you put salt and pepper on it.
- Have a firm handshake and look the person in the eye when you shake their hand.
- If you don’t have something nice to say about someone, don’t say anything at all.
- Polish your shoes.
- Don’t buy something unless you can afford it.
- When you do buy things, buy quality stuff. Nothing beats good quality.
- When someone is hurting, reach out. Take food. Send a note. Call them. You might not know exactly what to say, but whatever it is, they need to hear it and know that you care.
- Have fun, because life is short!
